ABOUT NORTH PALM
ABOUT US
HIS PRESENCE
HIS POWER
OUR PURPOSE
WHO WE ARE
At North Palm, everything begins with His Presence—because only in His nearness do we find life, peace, and transformation (Exodus 33:14). From His Presence flows His Power, the anointing of the Holy Spirit that heals, restores, and equips us to live as overcomers (Acts 1:8). And out of His Presence and Power comes Our Purpose—to love God, serve people, and advance His Kingdom in our city, our nation, and the nations of the world (Matthew 28:19–20).
This is the heartbeat of our church: encountering Him, being empowered by Him, and living fully for Him.
OUR NAME
North
● In Scripture, the north is often associated with God’s throne and His dwelling place:
“Out of the north comes golden splendor; around God is awesome majesty.” (Job
37:22)
“Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King.”(Psalm 48:2)
● The north points to heavenly alignment, direction, and authority. It represents a place of divine government and kingdom order, reminding us that the church is built to operate under God’s throne room authority.
● Practically, it symbolizes guidance—like a compass pointing north—our mission is to
orient people toward Christ, our true north.
Palm
● The palm tree in the Bible is a powerful picture of victory, strength, and flourishing:
“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” (Psalm 92:12)
● Palms were waved in celebration when Jesus entered Jerusalem (John 12:13), representing worship, triumph, and welcoming the King.
● Palms also symbolize resilience—they bend in storms but do not break—showing God’s
people as unshakable, rooted, and fruitful in every season.
Together: North Palm
The name communicates a church under God’s authority (north) that is marked by life, victory, resilience, and worship (palm).
It declares a people aligned with heaven, flourishing in the earth, and welcoming the King with open praise.
